When you create an account or use Book Your Salon, we may collect:
- Account details: your name, email address, phone number, gender, and area/location you provide
- Booking information: which salon and services you book, appointment dates and times
- Payment information: when you pay online, your payment is processed directly by Razorpay, our payment partner. We do not see or store your card, UPI, or bank details — only whether a payment succeeded and the amount
- Salon partner information: if you register a salon, we collect your salon's name, address, phone number, services, pricing, and any photos you upload
2. How we use your information
- To create and manage your account
- To process and confirm your bookings
- To connect customers with the salons they book
- To show you relevant salons based on your area
- To communicate booking confirmations and important account updates
- To improve our service and fix problems
3. How your information is shared
When you book an appointment, the salon you're booking with can see your name, phone number, and booking details, so they can prepare for your visit. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
4. Data storage and security
Your data is stored using Supabase, a secure database provider, with access controls that restrict who can see what — for example, a salon can only see bookings made with them, not with other salons.
5. Your choices
You can update your profile information (name, phone, gender, area) at any time from your account. If you'd like your account or data deleted, contact us at the email below.
6. Children's privacy
Book Your Salon is not intended for use by children under 18 without a parent or guardian.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our service grows. We'll update the date at the top of this page when we do.
